Scottie & Courtney's Cambodian Wedding Reception

Lexi and I were each other's date since our husbands are both deployed and we wanted to be there for Scottie since they were unable to.

Rock-n-Roll Marathon

Nick and I ran the San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon with some of our friends!  It was quite an experience but one that I personally don't want to re-live.  I am officially retired from marathons!
These are the happy before-the-marathon pics...
I went all out and got a tatoo for the event....it's fake.
Here's our buddy Dan with his packs of Gu
Here's my girl Crystal....I wouldn't have made it through without her!  She was my encouragement to just keep putting one foot in front of the other to get to the finish line.  Thanks, girl!

Go Padres!

Hawaii Vacay - May 2009

We decided to take a trip to Hawaii before Nick left for his second deployment.  So we  booked a flight to the beautiful Oahu!

We were greeted with leis from Momma Mac & Judy who were there for a girls vacation

I'm holding an island!

Here i am getting all strapped in to do the craziest thing of my life thus far....SKY DIVE!
We did this on Mother's Day...of course we called our moms AFTER the jump to make sure we would still be alive :)

This was a weird tree with crazy roots that we saw on our hike to Waimea Falls.
Plumeria!

Nick is the little head peeking out of the water to the left of the falls.

Look at the crazy colors of the bark...it grew like this!

Here was a wondering peacock....
